14-gauge is standard. 11-gauge is thicker and recommended for shelves deeper than 8 inches or heavier loads.

Choose the shelf shape. UF = Up Flange, DF = Down Flange. Add 'UL' for an upturned lip on the front edge.

Slots are oblong holes (3x hole diameter) for adjustable mounting. Choose vertical or horizontal direction below. Slots are not countersunk.

Choose 'Toggle' anchors when you need to support heavy weight but do not have a stud to attach your shelf. Choose Masonry for brick, concrete, or stone.
