Many of our products are made-to-measure, created just for you, which makes our process a little different from returning something off the shelf at a big-box store. Below you’ll find our clear, fair policies to help your project flow smoothly from order to installation.


Made-to-Measure (M2M) & Custom Orders

Most of our shelves and hardware are crafted to your exact specifications—by the inch and in your chosen finish. Because of this personalized nature, these pieces cannot be resold once produced. We ask that you plan carefully and make use of our design resources before placing your order.
To support you, we provide:

  • A customer experience team that genuinely enjoys helping you fine-tune your project

Order Changes

  • Within 24 Hours: You may make changes at no cost. Simply email us at support@calabasasdecor.com or call 000-000-0000 with your order number.
  • Days 2: Because we are already in production and materials are being used, changes incur a 20% time/material fee plus any additional costs related to the adjustment.
  • After 2 Business Days: Orders are locked in and cannot be changed.
Summary:
  1. Up to 24 hours → No fee
  2. 2 business days → 20% fee
  3. After 2 business days → No changes

Order Cancellations

  • Within 24 Hours: Orders may be cancelled without penalty.
  • Days 2: Cancellations are subject to a 20% time/material fee.
  • After 2 Business Days: All sales are final and cannot be cancelled.

Lead Times

  • Lead time = production period (in our shop).
  • Shipping time = transit from us to your door.
Please note:
  • Expedited shipping shortens transit time only—not production time.
  • Different products may carry different lead times. If multiple items are ordered, we ship when all items are ready.
  • Rush production may be available for a +50% fee.
We strive to maintain accurate timelines, though market conditions or order volume may require adjustments. Any changes will be clearly communicated.

Returns

We want you to love your purchase. Because of the handcrafted, made-to-order nature of most of our products, returns are limited.
Stock Items
  • May be returned within 30 days of delivery if unused, unaltered, and in original packaging.
  • Return shipping is the customer’s responsibility.
Made-to-Order & Custom Items
  • Not eligible for return or refund except in the case of manufacturing defects or shipping damage.
Damaged or Defective Items
  • Notify us within 3 days of delivery. We will repair, replace, or refund as appropriate.
General Terms
  • All returns require prior authorization.
  • Refunds are processed 2–7 business days after inspection of returned goods.

Refunds

Refunds are issued to the original payment method once returned items are inspected at our Lancaster, CA, facility. Processing takes 1–2 days, though funds may take 2–7 business days to appear, depending on your bank or card issuer.

Custom vs. Altered Orders

  • Custom Orders: One-of-a-kind products designed exclusively for you.
  • Altered Orders: Standard items with small adjustments (e.g., changing length or depth).
Both are final sale after 24 hours. Manufacturing defects remain covered under our warranty.

Promotions

We love surprising our community with special offers. Promotional details are always listed on our site and may include minimum purchase requirements or product exclusions.
  • Discounts apply at checkout only and cannot be retroactively applied.
  • Refunds reflect the amount actually paid.
  • Free or discounted promotional items may need to be returned if the terms are no longer met.
